Edit Resource: Resource ID Auto Refresh

When updating a resource in the estimates view, changing the cost center doesn't automatically update the resource ID. It only updates when the resource ID is manually refreshed. Can the resource ID be set to auto-refresh whenever any changes are made or saved within the edit resource view?
