Feature Request: Print Attached File Names in Bid Cost Worksheet
Summary:
Enable BOE Pro to display and print the names of attached files within the Bid Cost Worksheet, similar to the current behavior in Contractor Edition (CE). This will give users clear visibility into which supporting documents are associated with each BOE, directly from the printed output.
Problem Statement:
In BOE Pro, users can attach files to a BOE but cannot easily confirm from the printed Bid Cost Worksheet which files are attached. During bid preparation and review, this lack of visibility makes it difficult for team members and reviewers to verify that all necessary supporting documents (e.g., quotes, drawings, specs) are present and correctly associated. This can lead to confusion, extra manual checks, and potential omissions in documentation.
Proposed Solution:
Display and print the names of all files attached to a BOE within the Bid Cost Worksheet output, mirroring the functionality available in Contractor Edition (CE).
Include a clearly labeled “Attachments” section on the worksheet where each attached file name is listed.
Ensure that the attachment list updates automatically when files are added or removed from the BOE.
Maintain compatibility with existing worksheet layouts so that adding the attachment list does not disrupt core cost data presentation.
Benefits:
Improves documentation transparency by clearly showing which files are attached to the BOE.
Reduces manual verification effort during bid preparation and review.
Decreases the risk of missing or overlooked supporting documents.
Aligns BOE Pro behavior with Contractor Edition (CE), providing a more consistent experience across products..
