Feature Request: BOE Pro In-App FAQs for Views
Summary:
Enable BOE Pro admins to create and manage internal FAQ articles and associate them with specific BOE views, so that end users can quickly access context-relevant help directly from within the application.
Problem Statement:
Today, users working in a BOE view must leave the application or search external documentation to find answers to common questions. This disrupts their workflow, increases support requests, and leads to inconsistent understanding of how to use or interpret a given view. Admins have no structured way to provide view-specific guidance within BOE Pro itself.
Proposed Solution:
Allow BOE Pro admins to create, edit, and manage internal FAQ articles within an admin interface.
Provide the ability to associate one or more FAQ articles with specific BOE views (e.g., by view ID, type, or configuration).
Add an in-view “FAQs” button or help icon on each BOE view that, when clicked, displays a list of FAQs related to that view.
Display FAQ content in a side panel or modal, allowing users to read answers without navigating away from the current view.
Support basic formatting (headings, bullets, links) in FAQ content to improve readability and clarity.
Optionally allow search and filtering within the FAQ list for views that have many associated articles.
Benefits:
Reduces support tickets and ad hoc questions by answering common view-specific questions in context.
Improves user efficiency by keeping help content inside BOE Pro, avoiding context switching to external documentation.
Ensures consistent guidance and best practices are communicated to all users of a given view.
Gives admins a flexible way to update and maintain help content as views evolve over time.
