Feature Request: Attach New CE Sync Items to BOE Version
Summary:
Ensure that new resource assignments, estimates, trips, and distributions created via sync from CE are automatically associated with a new version of the BOE, so users can clearly see what changed and compare versions without losing context.
Problem Statement:
Currently, when a sync from CE introduces new resource assignments, estimates, trips, or distributions, these items appear detached from the BOE. This disconnect makes it difficult for users to understand what was added during the sync, trace items back to a specific BOE version, or validate that the changes are correct. As a result, users must manually reconcile data, increasing the risk of errors and consuming significant time.
Proposed Solution:
Automatically version the BOE whenever a sync from CE adds new resource assignments, estimates, trips, or distributions.
Attach all newly created or updated items from the CE sync directly to this new BOE version.
Provide a clear comparison view between the previous BOE version and the new version, highlighting added or changed resource assignments, estimates, trips, and distributions.
Include indicators or filters that allow users to quickly identify which items originated from the latest CE sync.
