Feature Request: Workflow Admin Eligibility Right in Roles
Summary:
Add a role-based permission that explicitly grants or restricts workflow administration rights, making it easier to control who can configure and modify workflows.
Problem Statement:
Today, workflow administration is either too restricted or too broad, often tied to general admin privileges. This makes it hard to delegate workflow configuration to power users without granting them broader system access than necessary.
Proposed Solution:
Introduce a distinct "Workflow Admin" eligibility flag in role definitions. Admins can enable this right per role to allow specific users to create, edit, and manage workflows without giving them full system administration privileges. Audit changes and surface who modified workflows and when.
Benefits:
Improves security, enables better delegation of workflow management, and reduces dependency on a small set of full admins for routine workflow changes.
