Feature Request: Top-bar notifications icon
Summary:
Add a notifications icon to the top bar next to the username so users can immediately see when new notifications are available and access them more quickly.
Problem Statement:
Currently, users must open the menu to check whether they have any notifications. This adds unnecessary friction, makes notifications less visible, and can delay user response to important updates.
Proposed Solution:
Display a notifications icon in the top bar beside the username. The icon should indicate when new notifications are available and provide direct access to the notification list when selected. This should make notifications persistently visible without requiring users to open the main menu first.
