Feature Request: Configurable Customer Statuses and Proposal Visibility
Summary:
Enable users to create and manage customer-specific statuses and configure the system to hide proposals from list views when they match selected statuses. This gives teams more control over how proposal records are categorized and displayed.
Problem Statement:
Currently, users do not have enough flexibility to define customer statuses that reflect their workflow or business process. In addition, proposals with certain statuses still appear in lists even when they are no longer relevant for active review or day-to-day work. This creates clutter, makes it harder to focus on actionable proposals, and reduces efficiency when managing large volumes of records.
Proposed Solution:
Allow administrators or authorized users to create and manage configurable customer statuses.
Provide a user-configurable setting to hide proposals from list views when they have one or more selected statuses.
Ensure hidden proposals are not deleted or altered, but simply excluded from view based on the configured filter.
Allow users to update or remove the visibility rule as needed so proposals can be shown again when appropriate.
Maintain clear status labeling and filtering behavior so users understand why certain proposals are hidden from the list.
Benefits:
Improves workflow flexibility by supporting customer-specific status management.
Reduces list clutter and helps users focus on relevant proposals.
Makes proposal management more efficient for teams handling large datasets.
Preserves data integrity while giving users better control over visibility.
