Save the Report properties in the Document properties

Feature Request: Save Report Properties in Document Properties

Description: Implement functionality to automatically save the current Report properties within the Document properties. This will enable users to easily reference and retrieve critical Report configuration details directly from the Document, ensuring consistency and traceability across workflows.

Use Case / Example

  • A user generates a report and customizes various properties (e.g., filters, display settings, date ranges). Upon saving or exporting the report as a document, these Report properties are automatically captured within the Document properties section.

  • When reviewing or sharing the document, stakeholders can quickly access the underlying Report configuration, making it easier to validate results, reproduce queries, and maintain data governance standards.
