Support Continuous numbering for appended Word documents.

Feature Request: Continuous Numbering for Appended Word Headings

Summary:
Enable continuous, automatic renumbering of numbered headings when appending Word documents into a Cost Volume section, so that the imported headings follow the existing numbering sequence rather than restarting or breaking the outline structure.

Problem Statement:
When a Word document with numbered headings is appended to a Cost Volume section, its heading numbers often restart or do not align with the existing Cost Volume numbering. This forces users to manually adjust heading numbers to maintain a coherent, continuous outline, which is time-consuming and error-prone—especially in large, complex Cost Volumes with many appended documents.

Proposed Solution:
Automatically detect numbered headings in appended Word documents (e.g., multi-level lists or heading styles with numbering).
When appending, map the imported headings into the existing Cost Volume outline so that numbering continues from the last heading in the target section instead of restarting.
Support multi-level numbering (e.g., 1, 1.1, 1.1.1) and maintain the correct hierarchy when merging content.
Provide a preview or confirmation step showing how the headings will be renumbered before finalizing the append.
Offer an option to keep original numbering (for reference documents) or enable continuous numbering (for integrated Cost Volume content).

Benefits:
Reduces manual work required to renumber headings after appending Word documents.
Decreases the risk of inconsistent or incorrect heading numbers within the Cost Volume.
Improves the readability and professionalism of delivered documents by preserving a clean, continuous outline.
Speeds up the process of assembling complex Cost Volumes from multiple source documents.
