Feature Request: Automatic Unlocking of Proposals and BOEs on Contractor Edition Sync
Summary:
Enable the system to automatically unlock associated Proposals and BOEs whenever changes are synced from Contractor Edition. This ensures that synced updates are immediately applied and the corresponding records remain editable without requiring manual unlock actions.
Problem Statement:
Currently, when changes are made in Contractor Edition and synced, Proposals and BOEs may remain locked or require manual steps to update and edit. This introduces friction into the workflow, causing delays, redundant manual actions, and potential confusion about whether the latest changes have been applied. The manual unlock process increases administrative overhead and creates opportunities for missed updates or inconsistent data across systems.
Proposed Solution:
Automatically unlock the relevant Proposal and BOE records whenever new changes are successfully received from Contractor Edition.
Ensure that synced updates are applied immediately to the unlocked records so users see the latest values without additional steps.
Respect any applicable permissions and locking rules (e.g., approvals or status states) by only auto-unlocking when it is safe and allowed by configuration.
