Feature Request: Visual Warning for Unapplied CERs
Summary:
Display a prominent visual warning (orange notification triangle and message) immediately before the "Update CERs" button on all grids where it appears, whenever CERs have not yet been applied. This helps users quickly recognize that CERs are pending and need action.
Problem Statement:
Today, users may not realize that CERs have not been applied on a given grid, especially when working across multiple views or large datasets. The only indicator is the presence of the "Update CERs" button itself, which can be easily overlooked. This can lead to users proceeding with analysis, approvals, or downstream actions based on outdated data because they did not notice that CERs were still pending.
Proposed Solution:
Introduce an orange notification triangle icon and the message "CERs have not been applied!" immediately preceding the "Update CERs" button on all grids where that button exists.
The warning should be visible whenever CERs are pending (i.e., before the user has successfully clicked and completed the "Update CERs" action).
Once CERs are applied, the warning should disappear automatically to indicate that the data is current.
Apply this behavior consistently across all relevant grids so users have a uniform experience.
Ensure the visual treatment follows existing UI patterns for warnings so it is noticeable but not obstructive.
Benefits:
Reduces the risk of users working with outdated or unapplied CER data.
Improves data accuracy and trust by clearly signaling when an update is required.
Speeds up workflows by drawing attention to the "Update CERs" action at the right time.
Provides a consistent, easy-to-understand visual cue across all grids, enhancing overall usability.
