Purpose / Description:
Enable users to quickly establish an integration between Costpoint and ProPricer using Integration Pro with the new ODBC connection method by providing pre-built starter queries. These queries will:
Target Costpoint material tables as default sources.
Offer an out-of-the-box experience for mapping essential fields between Costpoint and ProPricer.
Be editable and customizable, allowing users to adapt queries to their unique business needs without starting from scratch.
This feature reduces setup time, minimizes errors, and accelerates adoption of Integration Pro for Costpoint users.
Use Case:
A government contractor using Costpoint for material cost tracking wants to integrate with ProPricer for proposal pricing. Instead of manually writing SQL queries or figuring out table structures, the user selects a starter query provided by Integration Pro. The query automatically pulls material data (e.g., part numbers, quantities, unit costs) from Costpoint and maps it to ProPricer fields. The user can then edit the query to include custom fields or apply filters, ensuring flexibility while saving significant configuration time.
